Title:Madness- Sheffield 2012
Category:Bands / Gigs
Rating:Rating3 comments
Review: The Nutty sound of Madness left the security of Camden Town and visited the Motorpoint arena in Sheffield last night. The support act was terrible, and luckily only on for just over 30 minutes. Madness came on stage at about 9.15pm and started with their One Step Beyond anthem. Followed in quick succession by most of the old favourites and some tracks from the new album. Lots of audience... more >

Title:Rita Ora
Category:Bands / Gigs
Rating:Rating1 comment
Review: As all my friends know, I'm in love with Rita Ora. She's not just a pretty face (she's gorgeous) but she sings... omg! I can't even explain it! I've been on her first gig in London (at Yoyo) and she sang a few songs from her upcoming and first album such as 'Roc Da Life', 'Party and Bullsh*t' and the #1 hit which she's featuring (it's a DJ Fresh track) 'Hot Right Now'. Keep and eye on... more >

Review: This was the third time I've seen Vampires Rock and as ever they rocked, It's a great combination of clssic rock tunes and comedy. Perfect for a Halloween night and because it was halloween we were treated to a zombie performance of Thriller by a local dance school. Vampires rock themselves gave a strong performance and a power cut gave rise to more jokes and audience interaction. I would... more >

Category:Bands / Gigs
Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: So ive been to the tour twice this year now and i can say i was pretty impressed, although it was the same tour, the second time she came to newcastle she changed ideas and certain elements so it wasn't predictable, The outfits the stage where all exaggerated with massive cotton candy and cupcakes. And surprisingly her singing live is amazing, i was always skeptical after xfactor 2010... more >

Title:Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
Category:Bands / Gigs
Rating:Rating1 comment
Review: This album has been out for a while now but refuses to leave the official top 40 album charts. Full of foot tapping, air banjo strumming folk rock! If you're bored of the usual tedious and uninspiring music that seems to dominate the charts at the moment, then buy this. It's as fresh as an iceburg lettuce. more >

Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: f**kING AMAZING! It was an accoustic, solo gig - Just Pete and his guitar but he blew it away! He looked the best I have seen him (Seen him 3 times before) and he sound fantastic. He played a nice mix of Babyshambles and Libertines tunes that had the crowd singing along. The night finished off with a stage invasion of over 100 fans. I am sure we all would have loved to have heard the encore but... more >
