Title:McQueen, Shoreditch
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Rating1 comment
Review: I wanted to go out somewhere a bit different. My friend suggested McQueen on a Thursday night. I was not disappointed. The night is a mix of circus acts, carabet and weird talents. This made the night very usual! But to top it all off, the venue was beautiful. I'd definitely suggest taking a look! more >

Title:My favourite after-work hang out
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Rating1 comment
Review: Love Zebranos in Soho. In the summer it is the ultimate place to go after work, enjoy a few delish cocktails outside, some banter with the bar staff, a sharing platter with my mates and then downstairs to dance the evening away and forget the day. They do great drinks deals and would recommend it to anyone who lives/works around Soho. more >

Title:The Bank Hotel - Edinburgh, Scotland
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: The bank hotel offers nine rooms named after legendary Scottish figures, including Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson, Alexander Graham Bell and John Logie Baird. The reception is located at one end of the bar on the ground floor. I have not stayed in any of the rooms as this review is mainly about the bar called “The Bank Bar”. The building itself I am told actually was a bank back in the... more >

Title:Absinthe Bar Amsterdam
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: If you manage to find this place (it's well hidden and below street level) make sure you get a comfy seat cos you're not gonna be moving for a while! It serves mental Absinthe cocktails as well as the usual small glasses of Heineken. Last time I was here they had some quality house music playing at a decent enough level to allow you to communicate. Spent plenty of evenings here 'wasting' time... more >

Title:The Auld Hoose - Edinburgh
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: The Auld Hoose is guaranteed to thrive with being different. The bare wooden floors, neutral walls and central bar all point to an atmosphere that is repeated across the city. But on closer inspection, this pub differs in several ways. For a start, the selection of beers is impressive, with Wychwood’s Hobgoblin among the options, and there are 24 whiskies to choose from. With a good... more >

Title:The Banshee Labyrinth - Edinburgh, Scotland
Category:Bars / Pubs
Rating:Ratingcomment
Review: The Banshee Labyrinth is guaranteed to thrive with being different. The Banshee Labyrinth is a labyrinth indeed, with rooms such as a cinema, a room with a pool table and a room with a pole for pole dancing. But to some more importantly there are three bars located on different floors inside this pub/club. The place used to be called the Vaults because it is part of the old Vault system of... more >
