The next installment of the "cut up boys" has finally arrived and while not as much as i'd hoped for, it's still a good listen. For those of you who don't know, the "cut up boys" are an outfit who blend together up to date house and dance, old accapella's, various vocals or just something you wouldn't expect to hear. They used to have a slot on Radio 1 with Dave pearce, playing a ten minute set fusing sometimes up to 90 tracks. This cd has some awesome tracks made even better with bizarre mixing, but i do find something lacking. I think with copyright laws and bootlegging troubles they've not really put as much effort into it as the first one. However that said it's still extremely enjoyable to listen to and in my opinion perfect house party music. Those of you who have funk in your soul go buy it!!!
