The 36W LED unit fits my 3' aquarium nicely. It comes with a 12k light balance of blue/ white LEDs that are dimmable by the included controller. Further LED effects are available when using the SPS power bar which is operated via a handy little remote control, which is supplied.

The controller allows you to set the on/ off times for two separate banks of LEDs and they provide a sunrise/ sunset setting. The only problem with the sunrise/ sunset, is that it is hard coded and unchangeable, meaning turning the unit off at a specified time to make sure you are +/- on the timescale.

SPS corals ar colouring up nicely from browning out, they are also putting on some faster growth now. LPS are still happy to expand polyps fully and continue to produce new heads.

All in all. Fantastic value unit that "does what it says on the tin"
